Before we begin
We congratulate you on your decision to reside in Israel. Here is an online process that will significantly shorten the processing of your application in the following areas:
A request to check eligibility as an immigrant for someone who has received immigrant status in Israel.
A request to check eligibility as an immigrant citizen for someone born abroad to an Israeli citizen parent and who has an Israeli identity number.
Application for eligibility review as a returning minor for someone who left Israel when they were under 14 years old.
Application for review of eligibility as a returning resident for someone who has lived abroad for more than two years. Spouses or family members submitting an application to be reviewed for returning resident status are asked to fill out a separate form for each spouse.
Filling out the form and sending the documents is intended for applicants who are physically present in Israel only and who have determined their location from an Israeli authority.
Please note that even those whose eligibility was examined and approved in principle prior to return or immigration must fill out the form, with the exception of an immigrant citizen who was treated and awarded a certificate at our office at Ben Gurion Airport.
This form is not intended for “eligibility-carrying immigrants,” immigrants who have not exhausted their full eligibility period in Israel (15 years). “Eligibility-carrying immigrants” must make an appointment with an absorption counselor through the MyVisit app.
How to submit the application
The initial questionnaire is directed, based on your response, towards the potential class closest to your data.
After determining your status, you will be directed to fill out a form designed to check your eligibility at the Ministry of Immigration and Absorption, along with the relevant documents and a passport photo.
Only doc, docx, pdf, png, jpg files can be uploaded.
The file name can consist of English letters, numbers, characters without commas, without spaces, and without special characters.
Each file size is up to 3MB maximum.
After filling out the form and sending the documents for status review, you will receive an update that the form has been received.
Within a few days, you will receive an answer regarding your eligibility and arrival date if you have been approved to receive the certificate and continue treatment.
